I didn't think double posting was possible here.

It's like listening to a senate debate that gets real catty, you have no clue what they are talkin about but it sounds really good so you listen.

- Goatweed - 01-17-2004

Countrywide is who I got my mortgage from.

I've also heard some good things about Harley Davidson, but nowhere near the stuff I read in this thread.

Become a slum lord of a positive cash flow property. Then do whatever you want with the the extra cash.

- GonzoStyle - 01-17-2004

Then we can stay home and play socom all day?

- Mad - 01-17-2004

No, for that you need some asshole to hit you.

- GonzoStyle - 01-17-2004

will you be my asshole?

- Mad - 01-17-2004

I don't hit people, I shoot them. Get it right fucko.

- GonzoStyle - 01-17-2004

Harley ALWAYS has a 2 year backlog. That's part of their lure.

You conveniently ignored the most important part. Harley isn't THAT cheap to the S&P, it's negligable, but what's important is how they are trading to their history. I can find you companies who are cheaper to their history and have a more attractive dividend than Harley.

I hope you die.
thier history is not relevant based on thier recent market share, there backlog, (which you seem to think is irrelevant), there recent capitalization, and thier 3 year growth. stop relying on the table scraps of your coworkers and do some research of your own.
one of the reasons that this is such a good pick is that people like the ones you rely on for info are too comfortable in thier jobs and dont do the proper research anymore.thats why analysts were giving buys to internet stocks that were tanking in the recent past.
these same people dont know shit about a company like harley and rely on history instead of doing some current research. this company is going to make a sweet return over 2 years.not a buy a house for a thousand dolllar buy return, but a good one anyway. go back to giving your 6 month old stock tips and leave the predictions to people who dont rely on lazy analysts and do some real research.

I'm not an analyst, we don't cover Harley Davidson, so eat my ass. Analysts were recommending Internet stocks a few years ago because they were also underwriting IPOs, secondary offerings, and handling their M&A activity. Recommending stocks that they knew were dogshit allowed them to get more of that business. There are now procedures and regulations that make that impossible now.

Harley's business has not change to the extent that what their relative valuation to the broader market is no longer important. It is obvious you have no idea what their historic valuation is, or you would have shut me up that way rather than talking in circles.

The stock might do well, I have no idea. But the fact is: the company pays a shitty dividend, their valuation doesn't seem that attractive, and you suck.

Protractor fight!!

1. i didnt bring up historic valuation because i didnt want to confuse you anymore than you already are.
2.the stock will do well
3.i may suck but i still love you deeply
4. we should stop this argument before we make everybody else feel any dumber than they already do.

- Galt - 01-17-2004

you have no idea what it is.

I am right; you are wrong. I am pretty; you are ugly. Fuck you; not me.
