- Galt - 05-03-2005 no pictures of the lion roaring and running. It all happened so fast. I had just turned the video camera off when it all happened. The next scene is immediately afterwards and pointing straight down to the ground when I accidentally started videoing because my entire body clenched when the thing roared and it caused me to hit the button. I also missed the video of the impala fucking - Keyser Soze - 05-03-2005 post the pictures already!!!!! - Galt - 05-04-2005 my brother hasn't loaded them from his camera, and my new computer with all the firewire and video editing stuff hasn't arrived yet. But here are the ones from the great white shark dive.. It was raining and visibility was crappy because of it. Also, I was using a throwaway underwater camera, so a lot of the underwater pics didn't come out, so I took them out. - Arpikarhu - 05-04-2005 i gotta admit, other than the preoccupation with animal genitals, it seems like it was an awesome vacation. good for you. really. - The Sleeper - 05-04-2005 this sounded more exciting than my trip to vegas where i came away $460 richer - Arpikarhu - 05-04-2005 we should have a contest to mspaint galts vacation - lush - 05-04-2005 That's awesome. On my list things to do before I die is to do a shark dive. I have an obsession with sharks from some reason - Galt - 05-04-2005 The best shark diving on the planet is off the coast of San Francisco. However, it apparently cost $1,000. Whereas it was only $150 in South Africa (due to the really cheap rand) - The Sleeper - 05-04-2005 where was the safari? - Galt - 05-04-2005 Kruger National Park, South Africa - Arpikarhu - 05-04-2005 I once saw a shark at the aquarium....... it was swimming and stuff........ it....er......it had scary teeth....... LOVE ME!!!! PLEASE, LOVE ME!!! - Galt - 05-04-2005 it wasn't a great white shark. - Paper Boy - 05-04-2005 i don't mean to be rude but how much does something like that run, the whole trip? - The Sleeper - 05-04-2005 i thought you were gonna go to kenya or some shit. - Galt - 05-04-2005 If I do it again, it would be in Kenya. But I wanted to go to shark diving, and since there was Capetown and Kruger, it was easier to do both in South Africa. Kenya is more of a desert. Kruger was surpisingly lush. The safari cost around $1,500 for 5 nights and 6 days. I used miles for airfare, and I think that's about $3,000 - lush - 05-04-2005 I touched a shark once at the Key West Aquarium. Sharks look so smooth in the water, however it felt like sand paper. - Galt - 05-04-2005 IT WASN'T A GREAT WHITE SHARK! - lush - 05-04-2005 You will always be cooler than me! - Goatweed - 05-04-2005 I touched Jaws when he popped out of the water at Universal Studios - that counts, right? - crx girl - 05-04-2005 eating gator nuggets in gainesville last night suddenly just doesn't seem all that interesting. i have been in the ocean with sharks before though. but if i ever find several thousand dollars somewhere, i'd definitely like to go on a safari. that and australia. |
