i figured if i take a 15 year mortgage and double up every other payment then i am out in less than ten and really cut down on the interest paid.

yes, maplewood is in essex county.
i am now preparing my entire financial history for a meeting on thursday. luckily i am one of those people who keeps everything in chronological order in binders. they are labeled and i have seperate binders for all banking and brokerage accounts. i also have a seperate binder for all of my pay stubs.

so i am calling around looking for rates. everybody quotes me 5.375% except for this one company. he tells me the best they can do without points is 5.5%. i tell him that everybody else is offering 5.376% and then there is a long pause before he says, and i quote," oh...well...oh! hold on! i was looking at the wrong thing! ha ha. our rate is 5.375%.
this is when i hung up.
they are scum!
