I'd just like to suggest that we all move out of NYC, I've been looking at apts. near where I think I'm going to end up, and you can get a two bedroom for like $415 a month...and there's a pool....

i would, but bloomberg hasn't quite run me out of the city yet. i'm looking for apartments right now, and it's looking like it'll be a miracle if i can find something at 700, which i think is about my max i can afford. i just like the city too much. :-(

ok, so what do you get for 7 bills a month?
cuz for my mortgage payment is pretty much 4 times that but i have a nice house with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and so on and so forth.

yeah, my parent's mortgage isn't much more than my rent and they have a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2 car garage, back yard, den pool down the block... but they live in fucking florida, and it's awful there...

My friend got a place in Brooklyn, one bedroom, nice sized living room, nice kitchen, small eating area, and a pretty decent sized bedroom for $700 a month plus utilities. If you're not having much luck in Queens, you should look into Brooklyn, you'd still be able to get into the City easily, etc.

All I was able to do this year was have a dinner that we are having on the 20th. Full Italian buffet and wine. Employees are on their own for other drinks, they will have to pay for guests if they bring them. No bonuses, we never have paid them. I had to fight with the corporate office to do what we are doing. Of course, many of the employees are complaining about whoopie, this is all they get and why do they have to pay for guests. If they only knew how lucky they are that more of them weren't laid off. You can never make people happy.

We get the 24th off instead of a party. The office is haveing Secret Santa & food as a little party. :thumbs-up: At Thanksgiving we get a pie.

I only get 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a small house and a shitload of trees (and deer) for that. Man living around here is fucking expensive!

my new company (been here 3 months) gave us a weeks pay as bonus, nice holiday party with open bar all night and can bring up to 2 guests...we leave early on the 24th, don't have it off...of course, the company made almost 10billion this year, i would hope we would get a little something.
metal and lz must really be in the boonies, cause the deer by me walk onthe sidewalks to keep from getting hit...
