i have never had a pomegranate. i also like nectarines and bananas but they have to be slightly green and cold

Frozen with chocolate! I don't like bananas if they're too ripe either.
Pomegranates are great but they always stain my clothes.
For some reason, the watermelon thing never works, usually just the middle gets oversoaked by the alcohol :-(

Prickly pears are great, but very seasonal. And you can end up with a lot of seeds in your teeth.

We would use oranges and fill them with vodka. Stick a straw in them after awhile...and voila! A Screwdriver!
