- Tenbatsuzen - 09-04-2002 Right now, I'm looking at 1970 Mach 1 Mustang as my next car... I can get a nicely rebuilt one for 10-15K... I can get a not-so-nice one and have it rebuilt by my cousin though. What classic cars have you been interested in? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot....5325395 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot....5320563 - Hybrid - 09-04-2002 NICE!! good luck finding one that wont need alot of repair though ![]() - Gooch - 09-04-2002 hey, tenbatty...maybe you can save up for this...
USED SPECIAL:
Shelle Bink Convertible Many dents, a bit of rust on the tailpipes with about 500,000 miles. Both headlights are a bit dim. Top comes down almost too easily. Doors are well-oiled. Gears shift from 1st directly to 4th. Loose brakes. Seats are worn, especially in the back. Dead fella named Hector in the trunk. :wgaf: Edited By Gooch on Sep. 03 2002 at 8:21 - LZMF1 - 09-04-2002 hemicudas are nice - virgingrrl - 09-04-2002 my daddy had a purdy green 1970 Mach 1 Mustang. he ran it in to the ground. stupid ass. - Sweet Angel - 09-04-2002 The first link says the car has 1,000,000 miles. Is that possible? And who knew they sold cars on eBay? - GonzoStyle - 09-04-2002 Quote:Shelle Bink Convertible    My personal favorite was always the stingray, yeah laugh clown, laugh. - slackjaw - 09-04-2002 When I was a kid, my pops had a pair of 1969 Hemi- Roadrunners.... one was his dirt track racer. the other his "daily driver". Of course, LZ has it right, you can't beat the Hemi-Cuda - Sweet Angel - 09-04-2002 ![]() - Galt - 09-04-2002 A classic car to me is anything before 1995 - Hybrid - 09-04-2002 what classifies a car as classic? older than 10 years? 20? - Kid Afrika - 09-04-2002 I'm pretty sure it's 20 years, but it might be 25. Another criteria is that it must be a Chevrolet vehicle. Anything else will never be a classic. - GonzoStyle - 09-04-2002 I don't think age is the only factor cause a jalopy is not a classic. You just know I guess. - Gooch - 09-04-2002 hey...does this stingray have calzone stains???? - Tenbatsuzen - 09-04-2002 Quote:The first link says the car has 1,000,000 miles. Is that possible? And who knew they sold cars on eBay? Maybe he meant to indicate 100,000 miles. In any case, if you read further down the description, he said that the car's only gone about 3500 miles since a rebuild. - Hybrid - 09-04-2002 mustangs are definitely classics. of course old chevy muscle cars are sweet, but so are mustangs. - Tenbatsuzen - 09-04-2002 Quote:Another criteria is that it must be a Chevrolet vehicle. That's awfully elitist. To be honest, in my entire life, outside of the classic 'vettes, a Chevy has never ever caught my eye. I'm not getting into this whole Ford vs. Dodge debate, I just think Chevys just aren't that good looking. I used to be a Dodge supporter, but all the redesigns as of late look ugly. Fords look nice on the outside, but shitty on the inside. I will say, however, that my Mustang experience on my last vacation was quite special, even though the CD player ate my CDs and the driver side mirror was fucked. ...and Sweet Angel, are you from Holland? Isn't that craaaaaaazy? - Hybrid - 09-04-2002 ISNT DAT VEEEEEEEIRD! GET IT RIGHT! - PollyannaFlower46 - 09-04-2002 My ex boyfriend had a 1964.5 Mustang. It was beautiful. It took him forever to fix up, but when he did everything, it ran good as new...possibly better. He got hit by a bus though and totaled the car  I always wanted a 57 Chevy. - Keyser Soze - 09-04-2002 i would love to own a classic but im not a mechanic and i worry i'll be maintaining it all the time. |
