Last I saw when I left work, it was a 3 alarm fire with an additional signal for a major emergency response(Extra Rescue Company and the Collapse Rescue) along with just about every FDNY Foam Carrier available. Last I heard on the scanner they have a couple of foam lines operating along with some Tower Ladders(bucket trucks) and one or two of the fireboats operating, dropping a foam blanket on the water. I heard something about members missing, not sure if it was the crew at the refinery or some firemen. Leaning more towards crew of the refinery. They'll be there for a while. They just went probably will hold and requested more foam carriers. The people missing are workers and it should be under control from the Fire Departments stand point sometime this afternoon. I'm watching the Mayors news Conference right now...what a friggin schmuck this guy is.
