- GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 con ed is just getting out of control with their prices. Since all of you seem so savvy and well educated, i was wondering if you had any tips on alternative electricity providers. - Zootybang - 01-07-2004 hamsters on a treadmill hooked up to little generators. - GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 will you bend over so I can grab a hamster? - Zootybang - 01-07-2004 anything for you, pal. - GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 since this thread is gonna go off topic anyway and 1 person will post an actual helpful response on like page two when this thread dies. Let's take a moment to discuss the new hamburger being offered by Nathans. It's called "The Big Sloppy" it is a sweet juicy burger, with all the toppings, plus cheese, onion rings and fries on top. It looks amazing from the poster outside but I have not tried it yet, though I can not imagine it to be anything but glorious. Has anyone tried it to back up my unfounded claims? - IrishAlkey - 01-07-2004 I bet the big sloppy will provide energy one day. - Mad - 01-07-2004 Your screwed with any of the "energy providers". Natural gas prices have skyrocketed and ther does not appear to be any relief in the near future. Passive solar is about the best option. Look into the curtain ones. Solar Tech - Solar Heating Window Curtains - GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 I ask for an electric provider and he's offering me solar powered gas curtains. - Keyser Soze - 01-07-2004 call your congressman and demand competitive alternatives to con ed. as far as i know, you're stuck with them unless you try alternative means of energy besides electric. - Black Lazerus - 01-07-2004 Mad thinks reading is WACK!!! - GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 I'll call my congressman right now and ask if they've had the big sloppy. - Mad - 01-07-2004 Quote:Transform Any Sunny Window into a Radiant Heater Stupid fuck tard. - Goatweed - 01-07-2004 yeah, you're basically fucked - I never really looked into other providers, but the stories I heard were awful. My ConEd bills haven't been bad, but I just got my Keyspan bill and it was ridiculous - I'm gonna start wearin' my Cosby sweaters in the house to keep warm. - GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 Mad Wrote:CON Ed doesnt provide my heat, my heat is fine.Quote:Transform Any Sunny Window into a Radiant Heater i dont heave heat powered TV's & Lights. - IrishAlkey - 01-07-2004 Most improved... - GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 Maybe if I get my house hot enough with these solar powered curtains my TV will be all toasty and decide to cut down on its electric usage. Maybe that's it, my electrical appliances are all cold, I should buy my radio some mittens. - Mad - 01-07-2004 You could get some PV electric cells, but that would require money and some skills. Both, which I'm sure you lack. - Goatweed - 01-07-2004 do whatever you gotta do, just don't smoke around them!!!! - GonzoStyle - 01-07-2004 You just proved your lack of any mental faculties and you question my intelligence? Whatever, i'd argue with you but I am buying some leg warmers for my TV, according to you it will lower my electric bill. - crx girl - 01-07-2004 i have electric heat, and my windows face south, i could use that solar power thing |
