My pet hamster has cancer. I know i sound like a bitch because A) I have a hamster, and B) I'm probably going to take it to the vet. I was contemplating whether I should just let it die in it's cage or take it to the vet and have it euthenised...I'm so torn. Someone gimme an idea.

I'm assuming you've already been to the vet at least once for the diagnosis. The vet probably laughed at you then, and will laugh that much harder when you give him even more money to euthanize it.

I had a hamster when I was six or seven. The little fucker use to escape from his cage and run free or at least run across the top of my head in the middle of the night.
Found him stiff as a board, dead. Apparently, you have to feed them, who knew?
