Poker anyone? - Any gamblers here?

I'm not toocrazy about the poker but i love the Black Jack. I was on a nice $3000 run at the end of last year, I have since given it all back. I have a serious problem, good thing the nearest casino is a 3 hour drive.

i generally agree but AC is better for poker. Much easier to win money, more rubes. i have been trying to get a weekly poker game going but everybody i know has such different schedules.

I recently discovered Poker on my last trip to AC where I somehow won $200...I think it was beginers luck though. I like blackjack better at times....

Roulette I won't touch anymore since I lost $60 in less than 5 minutes.

best odds in the place. they even have abet that puts the odds in your favor but they dont leave a space on the board for it so that you wont know to use it

I play dice alot...like craps, but you don't play the odds. Man that has the die puts up a certain amount, usually 20 or 30 and you proceed to go around the table seeing which players want to take part of your bet till all is taken. Then yah roll. 7 or 11 on the first roll , roller wins. Snakeyes or boxcars, betters win. Any other number is your mark, and you as the roller have to make that number before a 7 comes out. If a 7 comes out, craps out, roller losses. Spent to many a night playing that. You could loose a couple C notes in one night or take 5 home. Very fun game.

Craps is the same principle, but you can also bet with the roller, or on specific numbers. All numbers have odds, and double numbers have greater odds. it is said to be your best bet at winning money.

It's also known that Blackjack has the worst odds of winning...except when dealing with Let it Ride.

I thought Roulette was the worst odds because it's more of a game of chance than a game of skill with too many possible outcomes.

I like video poker too...it makes the money last longer and kills time when your friends are off acting like high rollers when you can barely afford the tolls on the Garden State.

I so want to go to AC now though.

Games of skill? Not most card games, maybe gofish. If you're playing one deck blackjack with friends there is skill involved with the last couple of hands. Most casinos use 7 decks in the blackjack tables, even more in some places. Counting is possible, but also illegal. If you were that skilled they would find you out over time.

any source on casino gambling will tell you that craps and blackjack have the lowest house odds. do a little research.

Craps most definatley. I never argued that. Blackjack, though it's my favorite, has never been a source of winnings. Though most of my gambling hasn't turned for the positive.

Black Jack odds are better than some games but only with a single deck, which is next to impossible to find. Remember, dealer plays to set rules, soft 17 etc. Plus dealer watches every card dealt to you. If your a hot babe and dumb, they won't let you bust.

just because you suck at a game doesnt mean it has bad odds. try and be a little more objective when making your declarations of fact.

Binnions is actually downtown and you can only get single deck at certain times or at a by invite only table.

Please Arpi, you wont find any regular stakes single deck blackjack in a larger casino. And it had nothing to do with losing at the game. My bud once won 18 K playing blackjack, and even he'll say it's one of the hardest games to win at. The rules are simple, it's just knowing what numbers to hit on vs what the dealer shows.
