Em was supposed to be a gimmick, the first album was funny and considered more of a joke record than real rap

then he got bigger with his next record

then he got massive with The Eminem Show

50 is great, but he still has a long way to go

50 sucks ass, I guarantee he has no staying power. His style is lame, his lyrics are worse. Dre hooked him up with a few beats, and that's it... he is so OVER!!!

I think of 50 like the straight up gangsta muthafucka they put in a gang movie... he's hard as Hell on the street, but that don't make him an actor. I've heard comparisons of 50 to tupac... pshyeah!!! AS IF!!!

West coast rap is still hip-hop, east coast has gone too commercial for the most part. If you have to put an R&B hook in your songs to sell records, you are not hip-hop.
