Hmmmm friends, aye?
I've come accustomed to watching friends come and go. That's ok because I really enjoy my private time. When I meet new people or start to become friends with them I really try to eliminate any expectations of them. I take it day by day.
I do have a nice circle of extended family and these are the people I work with. I am most fortunate to have met people like this and I cherish them. It also may sound really sappy, but, my dog is my bestest friend ever. Maybe because he is not a dysfunctional human and he lives right in the moment and doesn't carry around alot of demented emotional baggage.
