its not a met/yankee debate, its a shea/yankee stadium debate.
yankees stadium has the history but shea is looser and less restricitive. you can drink in the bleachers and its easier to become friends with the ushers and security at shea. grease the guys at shea and you can sit anywhere you want. you can do it at yankees stadium too but its much easier at shea.
going to yankees stadium is like going to your rich grandfathers house, going to shea is like going over to your crazy uncles house who let you bartend when you were 12.
