Book smarts vs. common sense - Intelligence thunderdome.

Is intelligence just repeating facts learned from a teacher or a textbook or do you consider it to be deeper.

I think AM hit the nail on the head with that statement.

I have worked along side extremely book smart individuals and I must say that the majority of them have no common sense let alone emotional intelligence.
