yesterday's show concentrated on Bush's plan to put limits on pain and suffering on medical malpractice suits and capping the trial attorney's fees etc. All based on the escalation of insurance costs for doctors.
The conservative was applauding the plan

1. the legislation did not mandate ins. companies lower their rates to correlate the cost savings,
2. insurance companies are raising rates due to losses in the stock market, not necessarily soley due to law suits.
3. that the plan should be addressed as a state issue, not federal,
all and all,
I thought he made some good points.
