I'm not saying they are a bad thing, I just found yesterday to be a interesting experience cause it was basically a culture shock for people who have never lived without electricity for an extended period of time before.And people also died when they'd get a nasty case of the runs. If you want to go live like someone from the 1700's, there are plenty of Amish communities in Pennsylvania. Yeah, it was kind of cool to see stars at night, but I personally like wouldn't want to have to do this too often other than when I go camping.
It was a neat wake-up call to everyone who takes it for granted though. By the way, when did you ever live without electricity for an extended period of time?
