Just FYI, ferry boat pilots (they're called pilots, not captains for some reason) are paid pretty damn well. They generally make over $70,000 a year. It's actually a pretty rigourous testing procedure they have to go through to pilot one of those things. It absolutley sucks, but if you see the pictures, it's lucky that not more people got hurt.
