releases: this song was released as a single along with stop. the offiicial single featured both three days and stop. the promo had only three days. there was also a promo picture disc. there was a 7" which actually split the song, with the first part on side A and the second part on side B, this was an import only. the two part recording was also featured on live and rare, a japan only release.
interesting facts: the record execs love the song three days and actually did a shorter mixed version that would be more radio friendly than the almost 11min song. perry hated it and shot it down right away. the shorter version was never released.
this song is also the only the whole band showed up to record together for ritual de lo habitual. all the other songs were done with only partial members in the studio.
there is also a poem or maybe even poems read very low in the mix of this song. it has never been published in full to the public. some have tried to figure it out but it is nearly impossible. i have some of it in prose if you want to check what i have.
