unfettered capitalism is a pipedream that forgets human nature. there is, nor will ever be, a pure mode of democracy, libertarian, socialism, whatnot.
these intellectual ideals are a form of masterbating by armchair theorists. it is no better than Chomsky's dreams of a social anarchy, Gore Vidal's dream of the old Republic, or William F. Buckley's Conservative Wisdom dreams...they are made for an aquarium tank, not society-at-large.
