Steve Austin was told before his Wrestlemania match against the Rock that if he continues to wrestle, he would more or less be flirting with disaster. As a result, both he and WWE are proceeding forward as if that match was his last.

Austin was hospitalized the night before Wrestlemania but it was due to the anxiety of it being his final match. The doctors at the Seattle hospital actually didn't want to medically release him to wrestle.
