You know what's wierd, I used to have issues with my parents, but I've noticed that as I get older, my relationship with them has changed. There are times when I go home and just talk to my mom the way I talk to any other person. We joke about things, make fun of my sister, and have a pretty good time. I know it sounds kind of pathetic, but my mom has actually become a good friend of mine recently.
One other thing though, I think many of us are destined to become our parents. I know one day I will walk past a mirror and say, "Hey Dad, what are you doing in my coat?"

Your pocket Bible will stop an assailant's bullet, but not before it passes through four innocent bystanders, a school-bus gas tank, and your genitals.
