and yeah, thanks a lot hedcold, that made me feel so much better. as is, it looks like i might just risk losing my job just so i can actually be this one's godmother and see her once before she starts walking
My cousin had a baby girl a few weeks before I left for the UK. Missed the baptism last month and still haven't seen the kid except for a few pics I got e-mailed. I know what you mean CRX. :-(
ahem, hello excuse me, you people seem to have wandered a little off topic here.
so, i took my car in to find out why it almost killed me on the fdr yesterday. turns out part of the frame underneatch has cracked and some of it's just fallen apart. one guy offered us $400 for the car or he said he'd fix it for $500 another place said they'll fix it for $300. it hardly seems worth it, but since i just spent $200 on a tuneup and don't have any other options to get eric to work right now i guess i'm gonna go for it. this will be the last time i spend money to fix it though, looks like we'll be taking her for a trip to the east river pretty soon :-(
so, anyway, i don't really know shit about cars or how much it costs to fix them, but they'd basically have to take off the gas tank then put a piece of metal over the cracked part, so, does $300 sound about right for that?
