I'm a lurker and found most of you people to be way to god Damn emotional lately, but I still come here twice a day and read this piddle... It gives me a nice warm feeling inside to know that people still care; either that or I got chronic diahria...

along the lines of VG's planning things....i like to have everything planned out before it actually happens. i worry so much about things that i want them all the be planned out so i wont have to worry about what i will be doing next.

Even though this is soooo last page, I'd like to learn how to drive a stick, even though I don't think I'd ever buy a manual. I really prefer the transmission I have now - Volkswagen/Audi calls it Tiptronic, everyone else has their own name - where you can put in Drive when you want to be lazy, or choose to shift if you want to have fun. I do about 50/50.

how does tiptronic work? i'm always scared to shift without a cluth, for fear of burning out, yet another clutch.
