that can be said about any calorie, but carbs pack more caloric content in a smaller portion. i.e. a pound of bread has more calories than a pound of meat. that is why carbs are bad.

Let me explain a simple fact of diet and nutrition, simple sugars/Carbs(breads) are converted into fat much faster than amino acids(proteins).
