another of the disengenuous arguments that the irrational gun nuts use.
cant you even see the absurdity of that argument?
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

It's like the old saying, 'If you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns."
That said, I don't see any legit reason to have these types of weapons in the hands of the public. Are you gonna hunt deer with an assault rifle? I don't think so.
And when's the last time you heard of a criminal using a weapon that was actually registered to himself? I would guess that more often than not a criminal's weapon is stolen or purchased at a gun show with no paperwork. Either way, it's not traceable.
I can protect myself with a handgun or a rifle. Or many handguns and many rifles. If I am faced with a situation where my only resort is with a gun firing 50 bullets a second, I've got much larger problems in my life that what's facing me at that time.
It's just baffling why anyone would need the guns for any reason whatsoever other than in the military.

see thats what i get for taking your side.
With some books you can make things much better then a gun. Poisons, gas, explosives all sorts of neat stuff.
A higher body count can also be achieved with an automobile too.
can you go buy a book and go out and kill someone with it that day? NO
and don't you have to go through a whole lot more to drive and operate a car than you do to get a gun? Yes

I'm sure you can kill someone with just about anything if you hit them hard enough or enough times with it.
You really don't have to do much to drive a car, other than have access to one. Let's be honest, it's not like you lose the ability to drive a car just because you don't have a license or insurance.
Getting a gun is only easy if you want to do it illegally. Who wants to jump through legal hoops and possibly have the gun traced back to you when you can just buy one from Pedro down the block?
if its the same pedro i am thinking of, dont bother. his prices are insane!

specious argument that ignores the reality of gun trafficking.
