Went and took some photos at a youth soccer game this morning, a coworker has a kid that plays on the team and told me the parents would love to buy some prints. So, went out, got some cool shots, have 'em online where they can make purchases. Now, let's see if orders start to come in...

found out last night that my housemates (who live upstairs) are allergic to my cat, which means I need to find a place for her pronnto. Great, now I live hundreds of miles from friends, AND will be very alone when Im alone...

Got the snowblower ready to be put away from the summer, and managed to unhook the fuel line to empty the gas tank, without blowing myself up. Woohoo!

I love mysteries. And research. What I do not like is that all of the books I am looking for are out of print. Now I'll have to take a day off of work to go to my home county to the library to see said books. Effers.
But considering how much I love to research even some of the most inane things, I wonder why I hated college (or some of the classes, anyway) so much.

I don't care much that the toys are annoying I just tell the kids to close the door when they use them in the room, but when they buy them, then complain to my wife and I that the kids have too many toys, then they bitch that we sell the toys that they bought at the flea market. that's the part that bothers me.

I've been warning my cat since I got him that he's going to the doctors and getting unmanned. I've said it before, if it comes between him and the books that are within spray range, I choose my books. I love them, but my affections for the critter I call "Shit for Brains" can be iffy at times. Plus, I have thousands of dollars tied up in my books. I saved the cat from the ghetto that is East Nashville.

Ok, so here's something I've never been able to figure out. Maybe somebody here can explain it...
You know you'll see or hear a news report, and it'll go something like, "The incident took place in the 300 block of So-And-So Street." Does that mean it's in the area were all the addresses are from 300 to 399?

Nah, I'm asking because I see a news report that somebody got shot on the street I work on. It happened in the 200 block, according to what's on the TV station's website, and I'm curious to see how close it was to the office (which has an address of 2900).
