I have always loved BTH (blue tick hounds). I also LOVE LOVE Great Danes, but they are quite high on the maintenance schedule. Their stomachs/stomaches can "flip" and that can be fatal/costly. Remember, if you do get a larger dog, depending on the breed, the flipping stomach problem should be considered.
