I lived in Philly when I was growing up and you had to be trapped in your house under 6 feet of snow for them to cancel school. Now if it even threatens to snow they cancel school. I can't stand it!!! It is beautiful though, isn't it?

I'm in the same boat. One of the trees in the back dumped its leaves a couple weeks ago, and I was able to get those- but the other tree just lost all its leaves last week. I've still got to get the gutters, too.

Cleaned all mine up on Saturday. The new leaf blower turned 4 days work into 5 hours. Awesome.

I'm fixing up an old house that i'll be renting at the beginning of Dec. and I haven't even really touched the yard yet. Its almost as bad as the house. At least I can't see any poison ivy growing anywhere.

I know a guy that bought a home on foreclosure. The previous owner, upon realizing he'd have to foreclose, basically tore up the back yard, and also put a fair amount of poison ivy back there. My friend now has issues with that crap every summer.
