I think it's actually quite a compliment that people ask for your photo. But don't forget, hot avatar = hot person until proven otherwise.

i make the opposite assumption: unless it looks like a real picture of a real person that could actually be the one behind the keyboard, a hot avatar makes my minger sense tingle.
