A) It's not an AK-47. It was a Norinco 84S-1. The AK fires 7.62 mm rounds and is an automatic weapon. The Norinco is a semi-automatic and fires 5.56 mm rounds.
B) Most of the video available of the incident was shot by civilians, so I can't blame them for wanting to get too close while the guy with the rifle - who is now rotting in hell, courtesy a .308 sniper round to the grape - shoots at least 28 shots indiscriminately.

Thanks daredevil! I was wondering what happened. I kept seeing signs and reports for I90 being closed because of a shooting, but for some reason I never saw the full story.

hotzester: I know it wasn't an AK-47 but it's similar and that's what one news story said so I left it as that since most people haven't heard of an Norinco 84S-1. Headline grabs more people that way.

yeah thats how we roll in albany...like 6 months ago some dudes was running around 890 with a knife climbin in trees and shit and now this...
now that i think about it, toll prices should go down because theres a serious chance i might get attacked by a crazy person
