Common Bonds - Philly Mike - 07-02-2009
Okay here is another one of those forum games. It's kind of like word association but with slightly different rules.
It will start off with a person and the next person has to name something associated with that person. From there the next person has to name someone associated with that thing. The people have to be a celeb of some sort, or at least some sort of personality that is known to most people. So you can't say "that guy jim that fixes my car".
Example.
Post 1: Jay Lenno
Post 2: Motorcycles, Jay Lenno is a known motorcycle fan
Post 3: Jesse James, West coast choppers
Post 4: Outlaw, Jesse James was a wild west outlaw
and so on
It has to be a real connection so explain your connection. If a name matches another famous name you can use a bond for either.

The way the game goes is back and forth. you have a person, then something related to that person, then a person who is somehow related to whatever it was that was related to the person, then you come up with a separate relation for the person, and so on.
best example the begining of the game
post 1 - Person: weird al
post 2 - Common Bond: accordian, weird al plays one
post 3 - Person: John Linnell, accordian player for they might be giants
post 4 - Common Bond: malcom in the middle, a show with a theme song performed by they might be giants
post 5 - Person: Frankie Nunez, title star of malcom in the middle.
so now lets start fresh
