Does anyone have any horror stories about being an intern anywhere?
My first day at a school sponsored internship I burned garbage out back in a freaking burn barrel. The next day I basically helped a guy who worked there move his belongings back to his house. This was a communications internship and needless to say it did not last long before I just stopped showing up. Isn't the point of of an internship to gain real life experience in a field?!?

I am an intern right now at Alticor (wikipedia it)
No horror stories besides the fact I am in software development, and basically everything you learn in school does not apply to the real world.
