There's some way that they can make it so the person on the line doesn't hear the drops on their end.
They do it all the time in interviews that bomb.

Odd. He said toward the beginning that he had just talked to her a couple minutes before. I kind of feel like she knew she was going to be put on air and she was supposed to "act natural". Normally, I wouldn't talk any smack about the show, but that seemed suspicious.
