I caught the Twenty20 match this weekend between the England team and the Superstars from Antiqua. What a blast. I finally understand the game (for the most part) and am hooked. Grand Rapids has a Cricket club that I am anxious to learn more about in the summer.

Any other Cricket fans out there?

I was more intrigued after I watched Sports Science and they were talking about the velocity of the little ball and the tactic of hitting the batter with it to break their legs. Sounds wicked. I'll probably just admire from a distance though.

Believe it or not, yes. MUCH more drinking potential in Cricket than in regular baseball. I also see where the gambling could be good too.

Of course it is not meant to replace our American Pastime, but I could stand to watch a few overs and drink some pints.
