I go to Amatos alone all the time, it's just like a little store, I should take you there sometime, I'm pretty sure there's one up in L/A

Amatos is effen TERRIBLE....Every time I went there (which ain't that often), they effed up my order, there's sketchy people that hang out there (especially the one on India Ave in Portland) and the food is terrible. I once found a band-aid in a calzone, took it to the counter and demanded to see the "Manager". Said manager was only about 20 years old, and didn't even offer to refund my money. All he said was "Oh, it its probably just a prank" I have never been back since. The pickles are terrible. The only thing I would ever get from there again would be the whoopie pies.

Any mom'n'pop store is perfect for an italian sandwich.

You have to get the cheese pazzo bread. The most delicious thing ever.
