I believe those can be cold sensitive for a week or two. Or maybe it's gold that is cold sensitive.

It was seated around the 27th of July so it's been nearly a month. It started out to be a filling that partially came out and they replaced it, still hurt so they put a crown on it and the lab messed up the first tooth and they had to re form it. Now it hurts again.
Right now I'm hoping I don't have to have the whole tooth pulled Are there any dentists on here?

I'm not a Dentist, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I had a similar issue. What was found was that the crown was making too much contact with with the other teeth when I would bite down. The repetative pressure never allowed the tooth to completely heal. The Dentist just ground a little off the top so it wouldn't contact so much. Now it is fine.
