today the guys discussed a chris griffin sound-a-like that was interviewed about a truck crash. i'm trying to search for the video to see what this minger actually looks like, but i'm not sure what location or news station to search for. does anyone have any hints, or have you found the video yet?

Well they said Joe was actually watching the local news so I assume Grand Rapids, MI. I didn't watch the news so I have no idea which network though.

My guess would be either WOOD TV8, or WZZM 13, both out of Grand Rapids. Those seem to be the two stations that they frequently reference when talking about local news.
