The more research I do the more outraged I become. I've had a migraine for 3 days and it will not subside. There was so much "fluff" in that bs bill that in actuality only about 1/3 is going to what they "fearmongered" the AMERICAN PEOPLE to believe this money was going to be used for. I have had enough. Earlier in the thread there were comments about "pay freezes"; HA! They got their stimulus package didn't they; that means they now have their pay raises and are using the EFFIN SWAMP MOUSE to get it. Rep or Demo; all are blind. As we fall further behind the governmental bastards are pressing forward, lining their pockets with our money and inability to stop them. It will take another internal war amongst ourselves to stop the madness and let the government know that THEY are not the solution for everything. Bigger govt means SCREW THE CONSTITUTION AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. I love my country, I love the constitutional rights this country was founded upon (why do you think they came here in the first place? Government bs), but I hate BIG GOVT. Laws are necessary but there should be a limit as to how much control the govt can actually have. This is becoming a socialist country. Another REVOLUTION is coming. Damn.. Its what started this country in the first place. Ol'G.W. Said screw ya'll we will go somewhere else. Do you see my point or am I being overly anti-governmental?

Well jiggy I agree to an extent. You statement is correct but that is because the ppl who volunteer their rights (don't know or don't give an eff) far outnumber the people who are voting against this bs. Obama inspired NEW voters. Now of these new voters (white or black) how many do you think knew WTF the were supporting when they voted. Kind of like the senators with the NEW stimuli package WITH RAISED RUBBER STUDS for your pleasure, we discussed that earlier. They either didn't know or didn't give an eff. Right?

I'm fairly sure Congressional rules on pay are much like our fine state of Michigan. You can vote for a pay freeze, or a pay decrease.. but not for any sitting members. The rate of pay will only change once the seat has changed hands. They're not voting on a change for themselves, just for the person that takes their seat after a term limit occurs or they get defeated in an election.
Where would we be without the agitators of the world attaching the electrodes of knowledge to the nipples of ignorance?

I got to side on his side this time. The Bible does state that the world will work towards one world government, to bring the state to the Anti-Christ. Doesn't even show that he stated that Obama might be the Anti-Christ, just states that the things done are parallel to what is suppose to happen before the Anti-Christ is born and takes over. If you read the Bible it states that the one world government will start to be established before the Anti-Christ takes over, which throws Obama out of the heading for that role.

I'm no one's clone, which is why, while I do tend to be super conservative on most things, I do have a liberal thought or two once in a while. I'm pretty socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Hardly Spud's stance.

One coworker was telling another about how she almost won $7000 yesterday from something. The other coworker made the comment, "That wouldn't have been enough to quit working, but you'd have been able to retire a lot sooner!" At first I thought she was being sarcastic with that remark, but quickly the sad truth set in... she was completely serious. Now don't get me wrong, I'd love to get $7000 right now, but there's no way that'll help me retire any sooner than if I didn't have it.
