I'm voting for Obama. Michigan can't take anymore love from the GOP; and by "love", I mean "non-consenual travel up Michigan's dirt road".

You don't want me for President. I'd do things that go against the common will of politicians such as:
Build all the prisons and jails along the Mexican and Canadian Borders to keep immigration in line.
I'd create Social Security accounts where the money is invested at the investor's will rather than being rifled through for politician's pet projects.
I'd scrap the current tax code and enact the Fair Tax.
I'd also eliminate the lifers on the government teat. You get welfare for 6 months. After that work or don't eat.
Lifetime benefits for one term politicians would go the way of the dinosaurs.
NPR and PBS can find their own monetary support.
Go fuck yourself. Hard.

My candidate is still Ron Paul. He's the only one of them all that I really, really wanted to be President.
I usually vote Republican, but I'm so sick of having to settle for the guys they send up. Bush sucked and McCain is worse.
And since I think McCain sucks, that means I obviously find Obama to be even worse. I've never seen such hysteria over a guy who's pretty much said absolutely nothing. He never answers a question, he has no real plan to actually DO anything, and has promised everyone and their brother the moon. At this point for those that worship him, I think he could just go up to the podium and fart 5 times and everyone would gush over it. Probably knock themselves down trying to run up and smell it.
My prediction is Obama wins and he'll be Jimmy Carter Part 2. Just like the backlash against the Nixon RNC, Obama will win as a backlash against the Bush RNC, and after about 2 years everyone will realize how much Obama sucks ass.

McCain '08 w00t
That's what she said.
i sure hope obama dosent win. Our country should just bend over if he does. McCain, while i agree that he isnt the greatest canidate, will stay strong on national security, and will lower the taxes (which needs to happen to jumpstart our economy)
Im voting for McCain

I can understand the appeal of someone like Ron Paul, but if people elect another Bush-like Republican, we might as well just give up at life. McCain is another Bush-like Republican. Bob Barr is not. I'm still voting for Obama.

Yes, Bush's tax cuts sure have been an excellent jump-start for the country. Let's continue with his excellent policies. Then later, we can start some more unjust wars and get lots of people killed. For dessert, we should probably just eat the constitution and sh-t justice.

McCain is another George Bush. With such SUCCESS that Bush has had in office do you REALLY want McCain? No, We want Obama!
democratic economic policies are so stupid. The whole theory of giving the government more money is ridiculous. Do you want to spend your own hard earned money, or have the government waste it on stupid programs and spend it how they want it. I would rather have a choice with my own money. And tax cuts do work. Lowering taxes brings in more industry, and allows for people to purchase more, making producers make more goods, and in turn hiring more people and providing more money to the government. And all of these things that you are saying, you are pulling from the media, which is so liberally biased that it isnt funny. So if you want the media to think for you go ahead and vote for an idiot (obama). You'll regret it after he is elected

You will regret when Bush JR AKA McCain is elected. Obama is talking about giving money BACK to the people, not hoarding it. You're still stuck thinking everyone's going to pull a Bush on America, and the only ones who are going to do that are the Republicans.
and how do you know McCain is another bush? Bush is more moderate (towards liberal) than actually conservative. If people opened their eyes they'd actually realize this. Obama is going to turn America to socialism. Is that what you want? It sure as hell isnt what our founding fathers wanted

I'm sure the founding fathers would be more happy with democracy anyway. Also, anything is better than Bush, and with Bush supporting McCain saying his policies are just like his and with McCain's 95% approval to Bush's decisions in the past 8 years, anyone is better than him. I want Obama because he cares about the American People and not how he can screw the poor over.
Anyway, no time to fight, I am going out to pick strawberries

Our founding fathers also enjoyed the hard work of their slaves, so we should probably be super worried about what you think they may or may not have wanted. I'm not sure why people are still pretending the the current GOP are more fiscally responsible than the Democrats. The democrats want to give tax cuts to those making under $250,000 a year, aka the vast majority of Americans. Bush has given tax cuts to the richest 1% of Americans, while the rest of us have struggled. McCain agrees with these policies, and 99% of America will continue to struggle if he's elected.

I'm sure you said the same thing when you voted for BUSH and then realized that was a mistake. Go ahead, the same thing will happen with McCain. He's a panderer.

Unlike the former Bush-Supporters, we'll be very happy with our decision if Obama is elected. I'm far from nieve, and I'm very comfortable with supporting Obama.

thank you. I think people are just scared that someone is going to come along and screw America over. I thought that at first about obama, but I really like him. I researched a lot about him and I think he's a fresh, young, honest American who is going to change things for the better. Of course, we could vote for some old guy who wants to finish Bush's dirty work....Nahhh.
well im glad you are comfortable. Because while you are comfortable all of the wealthy Americans that work extremely hard to earn their money are going to get it taken away to support people who are supported by the government. People have no desire to work hard and pursue the American dream. Obama wants to redistribute wealth so people like me who have money have to give it to people who dont work, or dont work hard enough. GREAT PLAN!

honest American? so he was being honest when he made up all of his stories of his family freeing the slaves from Auschwitz when no American troops went into that prison camp. Real classy, he is BS'ing his way into the presidency.

Indeed. The problem with Obama giving BACK to Americans is that he would not be giving it BACK to the people it came from. Do you realize how many middle-class families cannot afford to send their children to college, while lower-class kids get enough government funding to go for free, even when they don't deserve to? Tell me how that is benefitting America.
That's what she said.

As the old McCain said, the Bush tax cuts were completely irresponsible, and Obama simply wants to reverse those tax cuts. New McCain however, is ignoring old McCain and has decided that those tax cuts have been great. I honestly can't understand how anybody but the richest 1% of America would want to continue these Bush-like policies.
