It matters not how straight the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll.

Yea, well these arn't bottle rockets. This bears repeating : Damn good thing they cant shoot straight. What if they actually hit a ship and blow it out of the water next time. You know damn well theat if they hit a U.S. ship of any type the people of the United States will rise up and demand Lil Kims head on a platter.

I doubt they could hit a US ship with those missles because they don't make it to international waters (about 200 miles or so for most nations) and U.S. ships can't be where they are firing anyway unless we want it to be considered an act of war by being in North Korean water.

Meh, until they are able to actually get anywhere near the U.S. it shouldn't be our problem anyway, we have way more important things that we need to worry about, like our economy and war in Iraq, instead of being the police force for the other pussy nations of the world. We don't even have near enough manpower to fight the current war in Iraq and a war with North Korea at the same time, not without a lot of help.

Who needs Manpower? Just two guys who can turn the keys to the nukes, if they touch a ship, or launch one at South Korea, or whistle one at Japan or come anywhere near Hawaii will do.

We aren't going to nuke another country, and that would be overkill from hell. We need manpower cause a nuke that close to both China and Russia would not work out in our favor. The way it is now we can't survive as a country without China (because of both the money they loan us and the amount of products we have from them) and a nuke would have to go right over their country.

Why the Japan/South Korea example, that is one of the pussy countries I referenced earlier, if they hit Japan/ South Korea it should be Japan/South Korea's problem, not ours.

First of all, Japan has no real military, and have not had one since WWII and have no real way to defend themselves. I'm not denying we are up to our eyeballs in debt to China, cause we are, but China is not going to step up to the defense of Japan, especially since those two barely tolerate each other as it is. Neither China or Russia have North Korean nukes pointed there way.

However South Korea does and we (as in the United States) have been their protection since the 1950's against the North Korean hordes. Bet ya didn't know that the United States signed a treaty with South Korea, and like it or not, the United States is obligated to protect South Korea from the North. Which is why we have had troops located in the De-Militrized Zone at this very moment and have since The end of the Korean War.

Don't worry yourself though Z, I don't think that The Obama Administration has the balls to retaliate with nukes of our own, even if we are hit with one ourselves.

Here is an intresting AP artical you may or may not be intrested in.

So they have one missle that MIGHT be able to hit us, and it also happens to be the same missle that has failed several times thus far. Until they have a real ability to hit us (not anytime soon without moving them via ship) then we shouldn't be involved. I don't care what Japan and South Korea have or don't have, we shouldn't protect any of them because we do not have the money to do so. I say let em all die and when they try for us we rake them over the coals (much like WW2 with Japan).
