My wife's grandpa, back in the day (i never met him) the story goes he use to mix lime coolaid mix and gin....no water...just gin and powder

That sounds, so bad. I think I'll try it this weekend. Any idea what the ratio should be ? 1 pack of powder to 1 fifth of gin ?

sounds like he made it like you would kool-aid only with gin as opposed to water....

the deer camp drink of choice in our area...especially towards the end of the season is the "Artie Sodbuster"

you take the last beer, the last shot of whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, everything or whatever and mix it...drink it....
