Native Americans have been treated unfairly (an understatement)since the first piece of Eurotrash stepped off the boat. That being said, I have no problem with any tribe receiving a casino license. Hell everyone else should donate their time to build the thing. 
The only problem I foresee is the overabundance of casinos in the next few years. They have started building one just east of Battle Creek too.
The Grand Rapids business group needs to quit their bitching and work with the tribe to benefit both interests. Next thing you know GR will demand that we close down the beaches on Lake Michigan cuz it's keeping people from going downtown. A-holes!
