If you can present your opinion in an intelligent way there is no need to bash anyone or "hurt anyone's feelings". However, there will always be people who take offense to the littlest of things.
I don't know if it's destroying the country. There will always be some one who will say exactly what's on their minds and "to hell with everyone else".
