He wasn't being a dick. You asked the question, "what do you think?" He answered it. Just because someone didn't love your link doesn't mean they're being a dick. He said it was boring AND apologized knowing it wasn't the comment you were hoping to get. There's nothing dickish about that. Grow thicker skin.
