Unfortunately there are plenty of doctors that think the M.D. at the end of their name precludes them from ever having to learn anything new ever again. It's not hard to verify drug/chemical interactions on actual databases (not just by googling), as well as researching in the latest medical journals. It would have been nice to see him have made an attempt. You'll do better with another doc.
