I'm really not sure where to start as I feel like I've lived about three life times jam packed into forty two years. This is part #1.
I was born and raised in the sticks, ten miles north of St. Louis MI, Home of the Sharks, Exact geographical center of lower Michigan, Home of Velisco Chemical Corp who polluted us all with PBB and DDT. I wandered around the woods for my first eighteen years with a weird neurological condition that would make all my muscles contract and twitch at inopportune times. I was pretty much ostracized as a kid because of it and couldn't wait to leave. And since the town died after the Chemical plant was shut down, I pretty much didn't have a choice.
When I was thirteen (after years of tests) one doctor I had diagnosed me with epilepsy, prescribed me with some medications and my seizures ( I called them dizzy spells) pretty much went away. This cleared the way for me to play football in high school and this is where I earned the nickname "maddog" because after I made my first tackle ever in an actually game I stood up growled loudly and beat my fists to my helmet. Somebody said "easy Maddog" and I've been Maddog ever since.
