I don't know why they are spending money for birth control

Baby steps (no pun intended) into socialized healthcare.

Socialized health care doesn't bother me so much, because either way I'll be spending money on healthcare. Especially when they decide the money will come from raising taxes on cigarettes and alcohol. That's a double whammy.

It's probably cheaper to get all females' tubes tied when they're young and undo them when they can prove they would be financially and emotionally capable of supporting a child than to pay days/months/years worth of birth control.
