This would encourage those with the entrepreneurial spirit to take the giant step, thus reducing a good portion of the unemployed citizenship. It would also generate tax revenue in the form of self-employment and small business tax. Plus, it would give those who run the businesses capital to invest in products they need for their business, which stimulates the retail sector, creating more demand for jobs in those businesses.
I remember during the Clinton admin. they handed out money to a LOT of small businesses but a lot of people opened up shop.. could not compete for one reason or another.. and then shut down. I had seen a lot of this with friends and family members who took advantage of this free govt money for businesses. People can start businesses now no problem .. I do not think this will do much.
We need to put money towards things we know that work and POLICE IT!! but not with a lot govt. red tape.. maybe a private sector to be the one the govt should invest in when policing.
