Most Republicans voted Republican because a Republican was running and most Democrats voted Democrat because a Democrat was running. Most elections are ran that way. It just happened to be, a man, who is black ran for president and was voted for by most black people. But, as that may be, they are still more whites than blacks! More people voted, yes, because they were inspired by what he stands for and of course, who he is. The people that voted for him, myself included, voted for a change. Bush was not a good president, period. McCain, as much as I wanted to believe in him, is no better than Bush. I, as well as many others, voted for change, and Obama, will bring it.
I would have to disagree with you on that point. I think most people voted for Obama due to the fact that, of the two major candidates running, Obama was the better choice of the two. I'm not harping on him. I'll give him a chance (as if I have any other option). But IMHO, he did not win because he was black. He was simply the lesser of two evils.
Hey doc, do you know the address of that place?
Oh, you know, I do know the address. It's at the corner of go fuck yourself and buy a map!
