There are some people that don't even realize when they are doing something wrong, but everybody else around them does.
So we just ignore the bits about killing gays and the just use of slaves? I wouldn't consider those acts the ultimate expression of compassion.
Since you know so much about it, please show me where killing gays and the just use of slaves is referenced in the Bible.
